Moving Forward

A Message from Our CEO, Ray Lancaster

On behalf of all of us at Pyramid Federal Credit Union, I would like to thank each of you for working together with us during these challenging times. Through these challenges, we continue to enhance the way we serve our members safely, especially with our remote and digital services. While change is never easy, we have learned that many of the transactions and banking services needed can be completed without coming inside a branch. Checks can be deposited securely and remotely using the Mobile App, through our deposit-taking ATM/ITMs, or night drop boxes at all locations. Transfers, loan payments and applications, eStatements, even secure messaging, can all be done using our Online/Mobile banking applications. This is our new normal.

As we begin the process of moving forward, we are monitoring the coronavirus situation daily. Our branch lobbies will remain closed until we have safety measures in place to ensure that we are minimizing risk to both our staff and our members. I would like to highlight some changes taking place over the next few weeks.

Limited Services Resume on Saturdays

Member service phone support will resume on Saturdays, beginning this Saturday, May 30th from 9am to 1pm. Contact Center staff will be available to answer your calls and perform transactions in your account, take loan applications and payments, and more. They will also provide teller-assisted services for our video ITMs at the Broadway and Rita Ranch locations.

In-Branch Services Remain Closed to Walk-In Traffic

Branch lobby services will remain limited to appointment only. Business hours are 9am-5pm Monday-Thursday, and 9am-6pm on Fridays. No in-branch Saturday hours at this time.

You can request an appointment by clicking here.

We encourage members to use our other channels - like drive-thrus, ATM/ITMs, night drop boxes, Online/Mobile/Voice banking and phone support through our Contact Center - for routine services. Login to Online Banking | Enroll in Online Banking.

Important Notice Regarding Speedway Branch Closure

The decision to close a branch is never an easy one. As technology continues to advance, the demand for and usage of digital and remote services continues to increase. As well, we continuously review our operations to ensure that we are providing value to our members. With declining transaction volume and limited growth, we made the difficult decision that we can no longer justify the continued investment in the Speedway branch.

We will permanently close the Pyramid branch located at 7740 E. Speedway Blvd. after the close of business on Friday, July 3, 2020. The Speedway ATM will remain open at this location.

Rest assured, you will continue to see the familiar faces of our Speedway employees as they assume roles at other Pyramid branch locations.

Membership Annual Meeting Rescheduled to Virtual Meeting | Tuesday July 14 at 6pm

Due to the coronavirus shutdown and limitation on gatherings of over 10 people, Pyramid will take our Annual Meeting virtual. Please watch our website and your email for more details.

COVID-19 has had a significant impact on our community. During this time, we continue to support local non-profits through our donations and community outreach, as the needs are much greater. We also have put a number of relief programs in place to help our members who have been financially impacted by this economic and health crisis. Hundreds of members have already found help by asking. I encourage you to reach out to us so we can explore solutions together.

Let’s be patient, be thoughtful, and help all of us get through this together.  Thank you for being a member!
